Lady Jane’s Salon

On the first Monday of every month I can be found among the fabulous folks at Lady Jane’s Salon, Manhattan’s one and only reading series devoted to romantic fiction co-founded by yours truly along with Hope Tarr, Leanna Renee Hieber and Ron Hogan. Friend Lady Jane on facebook for updates on each month’s authors, ranging from bestsellers to newbies. We meet at Madame X in NYC from 7:00 to 9:00. Admission is 5 bucks or a gently used romance novel to support women’s charities.

My bio

Maya is the author of numerous “dazzingly sexy and witty” historical romance novels including A Groom Of One’s Own and A Tale of Two Lovers, part of her Writing Girl Romance series for Avon/Harper Collins. She earned a masters degree from NYU and is one of the co-founders of Lady Jane’s Salon, Manhattan’s one and only reading series devoted to romantic fiction. She has also made many media appearances, most notably Good Morning America and The New York Post. She divides her time between New York City and Pennsylvania and lives with her darling dog and a rogue of her own.

Just Sayin’

I am opinionated and knowledgeable on a variety of topics: the romance genre today, the romance of days of yore, the stigma against this popular genre,  how to get published, writing advice, real life tips from romance novels, and living a life of pleasure. I’ve got a Masters degree in English Lit and I’m not afraid to use it. I’d be happy to talk to your group, guest blog on your site, or be on your TV or radio show, or star in your movie. You can email me at mail@mayarodale.com.

NEW! The Tattooed Duke

  • Deception has never been so delicious.
