bio:
The Heir And The
Spare is a Regency historical romance, and the
first novel of Maya’s Negligent Chaperone series. The second book
in the series, The Rogue And The Rival,
will be published by Berkley in October 2008. Her first book, a self-help
guide for women entitled It’s
My Pleasure: A Revolutionary Plan to Free Yourself from Guilt and Create
the Life You Want, was co-written with her mother, Maria
Rodale. Maya is a graduate of NYU’s Gallatin School of Individualized
Study, where she focused on women in literature, as both authors and characters.
She is currently pursuing a master’s degree at NYU. She has appeared
on numerous radio and television shows to promote her work, including Good
Morning America (May 2005).
